Premium Healthcare patients have 24/7 access to a personalized concierge service where their practitioner spends quality time with them during visits. This state-of-the-art boutique medical clinic is located near Wilmington and Newark, Delaware, in the Limestone Medical Center. The practice’s founding board-certified internist, Stuart Felzer, MD, FACP, and his team of friendly staff get to know each patient personally, along with their individual health history. Patients are paying for premium direct medical care, so they can expect to speak directly with Dr. Felzer anytime they need.
Dr. Felzer earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He went on to complete both his internship and residency at Philadelphia’s Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he served as chief resident after his final year of residency.
To ensure he’s always providing the latest medical treatments, Dr. Felzer maintains his lifelong fellowship with the American College of Physicians and keeps up with medical education and advances. Throughout his career, Dr. Felzer has held several prestigious positions, including serving as President of Delaware Medical Group and teaching medical residents.
Dr. Felzer and the skilled Premium Healthcare team focus on patient-centric care where patients get preventive care and individualized management of chronic diseases, as well as the education needed to make informed decisions. Dr. Felzer counsels patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle changes whenever possible in an effort to avoid prescribing unnecessary medications.
Dr. Felzer is available anytime, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Patients don’t have to wait long to be seen, especially for urgent medical issues.
The practice treats patients ages 13 and older, and Dr. Felzer often treats entire families. Dr. Felzer encourages a yearly physical exam in which an individual health plan is suggested and follow up is discussed. He takes the patient's input in their health concerns into consideration when devising their medical treatment plan.
